Support Govt To Boost Education, Na-Alhaji Old Boys Dutsinma Urges Wealthy Individuals

A Traditional Tittle holder in katsina State, Alhaji Shehu Ishiye Barayan Bakori, has called on wealthy individuals, groups and organizations to support the three tiers of governments in their quest to develop education in the country.

Alhaji Shehu Ishiye made the call in Dutsinma , katsina state during an Old Boys Association meeting of Na- Alhaji Primary School class of 1973-1998.

He said government alone can not shoulder the responsibility of providing quality education to all following the increase in population as well as the economic standard of the country, hence solicited support hands.

Alhaji Shehu who is also the Chairman of the Old Boys association and Depot Manager, NNPC Depot, Kano said the association had overcome the scarcity of drinking water and for other domestic use by providing overhead tanks, boreholes at Na- Alhaji Primary School, Dutsinma.

The Chairman of the association also assured to support both teaching and non teaching staff of the school in order to have a conducive teaching and learning environment.

In a related development, the association also honoured two of their members Alhaji Babangida Abdullah and Alhaji Kabir Sulaiman Dutsinma who were promoted to the next levels in their workplaces for their contributions to nation-building.

Babangida Abdullahi was the Commandant at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp Training School, Katsina and now promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General, NSCDC headquarters, Abuja.

Similarly, Kabir Sulaiman Dutsinma was promoted to the rank of Manager at the Petroleum upstream sector.

In a remark, ACG Babangida Abdullahi commanded the efforts of their classmates and assured to
reciprocate the gesture by exhibiting good attitude worthy of emulation.

Radio Nigeria reported that the members prayed for the repose of the dead and presented a gift to those honoured and later snapped a memorable group photograph.
