Kwara State Police Command says it has put in place measures to ensure a hitch free Eid-Eil Kabir and Durbar celebrations in the nook and cranny of the state.
A statement by the spokesman of the command, Okasanmi Ajayi congratulates Muslim faithfuls on the coming Eid Kabir celebrations.
He advised the residents to be mindful of the activities of the evil ones during the period, adding that there is the need for everyone to be vigilant and security conscious.
Okasanmi explained that all the special forces available to the command have been fully briefed and motivated to take up their respective policing roles perfectly before, during and after the Sallah festivities.
He noted that all exit and entry points into Kwara state, both local and international, have been well policed by all relevant security agencies working in conjunction with the police.
