Hajj: Jigawa Remaining Intending Pilgrims Depart From Abuja For Saudi

Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board says the remaining 53 intending pilgrims from the state, are set to depart from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja to Saudi Arabia for the 2022 hajj exercise.

The Head of Personnel of the Board, Alhaji Arab Sabo confirmed this to Radio Nigeria in Abuja.

He explained that the first and second flights departed from Dutse International Airport with the total number of 661 pilgrims.

According to him, the remaining and last batch of 53 pilgrims from the state including some officials of the board and zonal officers are scheduled to take off from Aminu Kano International Airport to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja to the holy land.

Alhaji Arab Sabo urged the pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state, the country in general and pray for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria while at the holy land.

Some of the pilgrims who spoke to Radio Nigeria commended the state Governor and the pilgrim’s board for taking care of them while at the kano state hajj camp.
