AFCSC Re-affirms Commitment To Enhance Personnel Capability

Commandant of the Armed forces Command and Staff College, AVM Olurotimi Anthony Tuwase says the college will continue to enhance the knowledge of Nigerian Armed forces personnel and its allies on maneuvers approach and its application to curb myriads of asymmetric threats in the region.

He stated this at the closing ceremony of Exercise Sea Lion for students of senior course forty-four held at the college premises in Jaji, Kaduna State.

AVM Olurotimi Anthony Tuwase explained that the exercise was designed at enriching students’ knowledge on the planning and conduct of joint operations involving land, maritime, and air assets.

He maintained that the Exercise Sea Lion was also aimed at writing estimates, briefing with the campaign plan schematics, delivery of mission directives and planning as well as consolidating students’ knowledge of the technicalities of war gaming.

The Commandant who expressed satisfaction over the students’ performance in the two weeks exercise, however, urged them to sustain the tempo, as they would be required to deploy such feats in the field.

AVM Tuwase also charged the students to pay particular attention to the teaching points, observations, and comments made by the directing staff, chief instructors, directors, and observers so as to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies to achieve desired results.
