Stay Away From Money Politics, Dr Kabir Danladi Advises Politicians

Politicians have been called to play politics without bitterness or rancour for the sustainance of Democracy.

A lecturer, in the Department of Mass communication, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Dr KABIR Danladi gave advice at the centre for Democracy Development Research and Training held in Zaria.

Dr Kabir urged politicians to stay away from money politics or vote-buying toward strengthening democracy in Nigeria.

In a remark, Professor Mustafah Gwadabe advised Nigerians to vote for credible candidates who were ready to bring positive changes to the country.

The Professor added that the nation can not progress with the high rate of vote-buying or money politics.

He stressed the need for political office holders to desist from using public resources to rig elections.

Prof. Mustafah Gwadabe called on political parties’ flag bearers to put patriotism and be God-fearing when elected into office to leave good legacies for the younger generations to emulate.
