Eid-ul-Fitr: Emir Of Kauru Felicitates Muslims, Emphasises Efforts To Curtail Insecurity

Emir of Kauru Alhaji Zakari Ya’u Shehu Usman II,

Kauru Emirate Council in Kaduna State has emphasised the need for traditional title holders to use their position towards curtailing the lingering security and other social challenges facing the state and the nation at large.

The Emir, Alhaji Zakari Ya’u Shehu Usman ii, stated this while addressing people and traditional title holders at his Palace in Kauru Local Government Area.

Alhaji Zakari Ya’U Usman (the second) who directed the title holders to be organising Frequent enlightenment meetings on protecting people and property said that the kinetic approach alone would not contain security threats confronting the northern part of the country.

He lamented the danger of harbouring unknown people and admonished title holders to desist from the acts as the trends posed insecurity.

Speaking on health issues, Alhaji Zakari Ya’U Shehu Usman urged people and parents to take advantage of the nearest medical facilities in their area to guard against the prevalence of infectious diseases, especially during this hot season.

The Emir also encouraged people to seek out Islamic and western education as it was the bedrock of socio-political and economic development of any nation.

He, therefore, used the occasion to felicitate Muslim Ummah for witnessing yet another Ramadan period and the Eid-ul Fitr celebration in good health.
