The Emir of Dutse Dr Nuhu Muhammadu has called on Muslims to pray fervently for peace and end to security challenges in Nigeria.
He made the call in his Sallah message in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
Dr Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi urged residents to pray for peace and economic prosperity in the state and country at large.
He also advised people to seek forgiveness from Allah and do good deeds so as to earn His intervention in the nation’s quest to overcome the present security challenges.
The Emir also urged Nigerians to pray for political and traditional leaders, as well as security agencies for God’s grace and wisdom upon them to steer the affairs of the nation towards salvaging it from its present challenges.
“I use this opportunity to warn district, ward heads and others to be vigilant and report suspicious individuals in your domains to nearest security formation.~ Sanusi
