Kaduna Gets New Acting Chief Judge, Grand Khadi

Governor Nasiru Elrufai has sworn in Justice Muhammad Tukur Muazu Aliyu as the acting Chief Judge of Kaduna State.

He also sworn in Abdurrahman Umar Abubakar as Grand Kadi of the State.

Governor Nasiru Elrufai while swearing in the Chief Judge and the Grand Khadi at government house Kaduna charged
them to be committed and in the discharge of their duties.

Malam Elrufai appealed to the relations and friends of the acting chief judge and the Grand kadi not to put them under pressure in the course of their assignments.

He emphasized the need for their relations and the residents of the state to support them with prayers for adequate service delivery.

The governor also thanked the retiring Chief Judge Muhammad Lawal Bello for his distinguished service to the state.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the ceremony ,the acting Chief Judge Muhammad Tukur Aliyu assured to ensure that, judiciary is governed according to the provisions of the constitution and the law.

On his part, the Grand khadi
Abdurrahman Abubakar appreciated the government for finding them worthy and promised to do their best to deliver the mandate.
