Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged the seven newly inaugurated Permanent Secretaries to be good team players and join hands in the rebuilding efforts of the present administration.

AbdulRazaq made the call during the inauguration of the permanent secretaries at the Government House Ilorin.

He charged the new Permanent Secretaries to work closely with their political heads and junior colleagues to deliver optimal service and good governance to the residents of the State.

The governor advised them to raise generations of civil servants who will deliver promptly on their core mandates, as well as respect rules and regulations.

He maintained that the job of the administration has been made tougher by low revenue and higher wage bills adding that priority will be given to the most relevant needs of the people.

In her remark, the Kwara State Head of Service, Mrs. Suzan Oluwole charged the new permanent secretaries to hit the ground running and to justify the confidence reposed in them.
