Easter Celebration: NSCDC In Jigawa Deploys 750 Personnel

Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps-NSCDC says it has concluded plans to deploy 750 personnel across the state during the easter holidays.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, CSC Adamu Shehu disclosed this to Radio Nigeria in Dutse.

He explained that the State Commandant, Mustapha Talba ordered the immediate deployment of personnel from various departments and units. 

Adamu Shehu pointed out that, the deployment covers all nooks and crannies in the State. 

According to him, the Commandant said emphasis will be made on strategic places such as worship centers, government buildings and installations, markets, malls, Motor parks, densely populated areas and other vulnerable spots. 

Adamu Shehu added that, the State Commandant equally directed the head of Private Guards Company, to include Private Security Operatives in the exercise as they are a veritable tool in the Corps security architecture, mostly found at the malls, churches, recreational centres and other business places. 

The PRO said the Command, therefore urged the general public to cooperate with the corps personnel before, during and after the celebrations.

He urged the people of the state to report any suspicious activity by an individual, group or persons to the nearest security formation. 

The Command also advised parents and guardians to look after their wards and always know their whereabouts while general public are enjoined to be orderly and law abiding. 

The Commandant felicitates with the Christian faithfuls, and wishes the entire people of the State a happy Easter celebration.
