NSCDC Collaborates Hunters To Fight Insecurity In Zamfara

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC Zamfara State Command has urged the Nigerian Hunters Council to collaborate with the Corps in the fight against vandals and criminal elements.

The State Commandant of the Corps, Commandant Athanasius Sparks stated this when he received the Leadership of the Council on a courtesy visit at the command headquarters in Gusau.

Mr Sparks said the Corps saddled with diverse responsibilities was poised to ensure the security challenges bedevilling the state and the country be a thing of the past.

He therefore enjoined the Nigeria Hunters Council to assist the Corps in the provision of intelligent information in order to fight insecurity , criminality and activities of vandals in the state.

Commandant Sparks also reiterated that the Agro Ranger’s Unit was ever ready to work in absolute collaboration with the hunter’s groups in 14 local government areas of the state to achieve the desired objective.

Earlier, the State Commander of the Nigeria Hunter’s Council Suleiman Lawali Zurmi Commended the efforts of the NSCDC for the fight against criminals and Vandals in the State.

He said the Corps had recorded an achievement under the leadership of Commandant Athanasius Sparks, adding that the hunter’s council was ready to partner with the corps in the fight against insecurity in the state.
