Hanifa’s Case: Great Tragedy, First Of Its Kind In Kano – Hisbah Board

Kano State Hisbah board has described the killing of five year old Hanifa Abubakar as the first of it’s kind in the state, which will always be remembered.

Commander General Kano state hisbah board Sheikh Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina stated this while briefing newsmen at the headquarters sharada kano.

The commander condemned the killing of the innocent girl by her school proprietor Abdulmalik Tanko, Saying Islam prohibits killing and also sets stiffer punishments for murderers.

Sheikh Ibn Sina said the state government was committed to the protection of lives and properties as such it would not relent in it’s efforts in ensuring justice.

He commended security agencies in kano for the prompt response in unraveling the mystery behind the missing girl which led to the arrest of the perpetrator.

The commander general urged the general public to intensify prayers and be more vigilant on their children to avoid future occurance.

Sheikh Ibn Sina condoled government, parents and people of Kano state over the unfortunate incident and prayed for the repose of Hanifa’s soul.

He called on residents to remain calm as government would do everything within it’s powers to punish the suspects.

Meanwhile, kano state government had suspended the operating licence of all private schools in the state, over the killing of the five year old.

While the state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje had also reaffirmed his commitment to signing the death warrant of the culprits if passed by the court,during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased.

Kano state was thrown into deep sorrow following the gruesome killing of the young girl who was abducted last year.
