About five hundred and sixty thousand primary school pupils in Niger state have benefited from the National Home Grown School Feeding programme of the Federal Government.

Focal Person and Special Adviser to Niger state Governor on Social Investment Programme SIP Barrister Amina Musa Guar stated this while addressing Newsmen in Minna on gains of the programme to the piorest of the poor.

Barrister Amina Musa Guar explained that the programme is taken place in two thousand six hundred and sixty three primary schools out of the three thousand and thirty two primary schools across the twenty local government councils in Niger state.

She however explained that a total of thirty thousand local farmers are directly benefiting from the National Home Grown School Feeding programme in addition to fourteen thousand six hundred and forty three people working with them and are earning from fifteen to thirty thousand naira per month.

On market money Barrister Amina Musa Guar said eight thousand seven hundred benefitiaries have benefitted from fifty thousand naira each amounting to four hundred And thirty five million naira from twenty seventeen to twenty nineteen.

Similarly she said fifty three thousand benefitiaries who were recieving ten thousand naira from Trader money have gulfed five hundred and thirty million naira.

According to Barrister Amina Musa Guar the purpose of Social Investment Programme of Federal Government has been achieved in Niger state through the support they have been recieving from both Federal and Niger state govẹrnment as well as media for their accurate balanced and objective reportage of its activities.

On cash transfer she added that over eighty one thousand Nigerlites have benefitted from the programme.
