KWASU Permanent Campuses To Be Completed Soon – Governor AbdulRazq

Kwara state Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration has secured funding for the completion of the two campuses of the state university at Osi and Ilesha Baruba next year.

The Governor stated this at the combined 8th and 9th convocation ceremony of the Kwara State University, Malete, in Moro local government area of the state.

He said completing the two campuses will open up the state ,and boost economic activities in the area.

AbdulRazq commended the university for its commitment to research and community service.

He urged the graduands to be great ambassadors of the school by exhibiting good conduct.

In his address the Vice Chancellor,Kwara state University,Malete, Professor Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi (SAN) said the school is fast growing in terms of academic, community development and staff welfare.

He said the institution was one of the few tertiary institutions that ran uninterrupted sessions in the heat of the COVID-19 lockdowns (using virtual platforms).

The combined convocation produced 6,620 First Degree graduates with 98 of them getting first class degrees.
