KDSG Launches 2022 Emblem

Kaduna State government has launched emblem for the commencement of 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Celebration in the State.

The State Deputy governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe while launching the emblem in Kaduna called on Nigerians to accord a high degree of honor to the fallen heroes and servicemen for their sacrifice to the nation.

Dr Hadiza Balarabe explained that, the ongoing internal security operations, many of the service men and women have suffered the direct physical impact of the battle.

She however called on everyone to join hand in supporting the launching and also to purchase the emblem.

“We will acknowledge the loss of nearly an entire generation who died fighting to preserve our nationhood in the civil war; and we will remember the role that many of our gallant forbears played in world history as they fought for colonial masters in distant lands”.

“Our gathering here today is to also ensure that we give credence to that line of our National Anthem which says that: “The labour of our heroes past, shall never be in vain.

The Deputy governor maintained that, Kaduna State Government has a good collaborative relationship with the Armed Forces, stressing that it liaise constantly with every branch of the armed services and deeply appreciate the partnership in the security efforts.

The Chairman of legionnaire in Kaduna State, Major Danjuma Baren expressed gratitude to Kaduna state government for the support extended to the Nigerian legionnaires Kaduna branch when the need arise.

Represented by Major Bala Adamu Retired, he appealed to the state government to support them with functional vehicle to continue discharging their activities.

Major Danjuma Baren also appreciated officers and men of the Nigerian armed forces, paramilitary, private organisations and individuals for their support.

The representative of various security agencies attended the event.
