Kwara Government Renovates Over 6,000 SUBEB Schools

Over 600 State Universal Basic Education Schools (SUBEB) have been renovated and reconstructed by the Kwara State Government to make teaching and learning conducive.

The State Commissioner for Communications, Mrs. Abosede Buraimoh made the disclosure while featuring on the Correspondents Chapel media Parliament tagged”News Keg” in Ilorin.

According to her, most of the schools have been renovated to meet the national standard.

She said the state government has ensured adequate supervision of the dividend of democracy provided for the people of the State.

Mrs. Buraimoh said the idea was to make the people of the state have the development they are yearning for.

The Commissioner explained that the state government had organised an education summit with a view to finding a lasting solution to challenges in the education sector across the state.

She noted that the state had also rehabilitated and reconstructed roads to make them motorable.

Mrs. Buraimoh maintained that the state-owned Television outfit had been renovated and equipped to commence 24hours service.

The Commissioner said the state government is working tirelessly to ensure the state is clean.
