Kwara State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,(NDLEA), says it has put in place measures to reduce drug abuse to the minimum in the state.

The state Commander of the agency, Babayeju Kayode made the disclosure while speaking with Newsmen in Ilorin.

He urged the state government and other stakeholders to support the command to enable it succeed.

Commander Babayeju also appealed to the state government to assist the command in the completion of the rehabilitation centre under construction to accommodate youths who are in need of counseling.

He explained that the command will ensure the arrest and prosecution of drug traffickers to reduce drug demand and supply in the state.

Commander Babayeju advised the youths to shun drug abuse in order to live a good life.
