The Super Falcons of Nigeria are through to the final round of the qualification series for next year’s Women Africa Cup of Nations, AWCON 2022, to be hosted by Morocco despite losing to Ghana.
The Nigerian girls, on Sunday evening, lost by a lone-goal to the Black Queens of Ghana in Accra.
The nine-time African champions survived with a 2-1 aggregate win over their hosts.
The Falcons progressed to the final round where they will play the Lady Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire, in February 2022.
