Revive Reading Culture To Boost Education, Morality – Ex Commissioner

The federal government has been urged to redesign the nation’s education curricullum to make the students busy and discourage them from cyber crime and other criminal activities.

Former Attorney General and Commisssioner for Justice in Kwara state ,Titus Ashaolu, SAN, ,made the call while Speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.

According to him the old system of education where students are made to read widely should be adopted to get them engaged.

He explained that the new course system of education currently in use has left the students idle .

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria also advised parents to teach their children good morals to make the good citizens of the country.

He noted that parent should have interest in knowing the kind of friends their children keep to prevent them from joining bad gang.

Ashaolu SAN also urged the youths to learn trade in the absence of paid employment to make themselves self reliant.

He however called on government at all levels to encourage the youths to venture into agriculture through the provision of better incentives.
