Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a visionary leader whose style of leadership and dedication is among the best in global world practices.
Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari made the disclosure in a press statement made available to newsmen by the Director Press of the House, Malam Uba Abdullahi to commemorate Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary.
According to the statement, the commitment of the Muhammadu Buhari led administration in terms of development is a clear indication that the country is on the right track, despite few challenges.
He explained that, the transformation of the country in terms of economic and socio economic development showed that Nigeria would soon be among top ranking nations in the world.
The Speaker also commended the hardwork and dedication of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje especially in terms of security, qualitative and effective healthcare delivery, provision of free and compulsory free education, Agriculture, commercial activities among others.
Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari said the state government had mapped out policies and strategies aimed at moving the state forward through empowerment, curtailing drug abuse and uplifting the standard of living among it’s citizen’s.
He noted that, federal government in collaboration with state governors and relevant stakeholders were working tirelessly in bringing an end to security challenges bedevelling the country.
The Speaker charged religious and traditional leaders, influential persons and all Nigerian’s to compliment government’s efforts by being vigilant and providing the necessary information to security agencies and intensify prayers for peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding in the country.
Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari congratulated the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and the Executive Governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for their visionary leadership style and their efforts in making the nation great.
