Jigawa State Approves N3.5B For Ringim-Facawa-Doko Road

Jigawa state government says it has awarded the contract for the construction of Ringim-Facawa-Doko Road at the sum of over 3.5 Billion naira.

The State Commissioner for Information Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Mamser, disclosed this shortly after the state executive council meeting held at government House Dutse.

He explained that, the contract was awarded with a completion period of twelve months.

According to him, the executive council also approved the dualisation of Sambajo round about to Kwanar Kogi in Hadejia local government area of the state.

Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Mamser said the contract was awarded at the sum of over 960 million naira.

He said the council also approved the award of contract for the construction of 3.15Km township road in Birnin Kudu at the cost of over 968 million naira, with a completion period of 8 months.

The Commissioner added that the state government also approved the construction work of phase 11 at the new general hospital in Guri.

He noted that phase 1 has reached appreciable stage of completion, hence the need to carry out the phase 2 of the project to enable the hospital be utilised for effective health care services delivery.
