Zamfara Govt Collaborates NGOs On Medical, Human Development

Zamfara government has assured readiness to collaborate with Non-Governmental Organizations, NGOs towards developing the state.

The state commissioner of information, Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara Disclosed this in Gusau while receiving the officials of Jaji Care Foundation who paid him a courtesy visit.

He said the state under the leadership of governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle welcomes and appreciates services and Support of various NGOs in different sectors of human endeavor.

Alhaji Ibrahim Dosara explained that the present administration believed that Government alone cannot cater for the needs of the public, as such establishment of such non-profit and charitable organizations became necessary in a civilized society.

The Commissioner therefore called on the officials of the Foundation not to relent in an efforts at providing medication and palliatives to less privileged people in the state.

Earlier, the chairman of the foundation, Dr Nasiru Sani said the Organization was formed in 2019 with the sole aim of assisting people especially in medication, saying that it had succeeded in visiting 15 villages for medical outreach, which they spent about five million Naira in the State.
