Jigawa Set To Launch Basic Health Provision Fund

Jigawa State Health Care Contributory Agency says it has concluded plan to launch the federal government basic health provision fund program for the less privileged in the state.

The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Nura Ibrahim made this known to newsmen in Dutse.

According to him, the agency is now waiting for the State Governor’s approval to commence the program next month.

Dr Nura Ibrahim said 157 less privileged persons have been selected from each of the 287 political wards of the state to benefit from the federal government program.

He added that 279 health facilities were also selected for the program in the state.
