The newly posted Commisssioner of Police Kwara State Command, Mr Amienbo Assayomo has assured residents of his determination to ensure adequate security of lives and property.
Addressing officers and men of the command after inspecting the guard of honour at the Police headquarters in Ilorin, Mr Assayomo urged them to redouble their efforts in the discharge of their duties
He said the command would make maximum use of every available resources both human and material to make the state secured and peaceful.
The Commissioner promised to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor by strengthening the existing collaborations between the Command and security community in the State.
Cp Amienbo Tuesday Assayomo took over the Command from the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Aig Mohammed Lawal Bagega.
