APC Faction Shuns Revalidation Exercise For Decampees

Leadership of All Progressive Congress, APC under the former Governor Abdul Aziz Yari faction has called on their members across the state to shun the ongoing party registration and revalidation exercise for the newly decamped members of the party.

The factional Chairman of the party Lawal Mohammed Liman and the northwest Zonal Caretaker Committee Secretary of the party Abdulkadir Tukur Gusau stated this at a joined press briefing held in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital.

Lawali Liman Said over seven hundred and seventy thousand APC members were registered during the party’s registration and revalidation exercise earlier this year

The Yari’s factional Chairman of the APC has described the ongoing party registration in the state as another attempt to cause crisis in the party and disunity among the party supporters

The party also frowned at the recent comments credited to former Governor Ahmad Sani Yerima as untrue and an attempt to disorganise and disunite the party, noting that, they have their membership cards and are authentic and valid, so no one should direct them to register again.

Lawali Liman maintained that, the recent Statement by Former Governor Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura, saying anyone that has not registered in the recent party registration will not be considered a member of the party in Zamfara is unfounded.

The Yari’s faction of the APC wonders why the Zamfara state party registration and revalidation exercise is holding for the second time within eight months.

The party commended former Governor Abdul’azeez Yari for nursing members of the party since it lost power in 2019

In his contribution, the northwest secretary caretaker committee of all the party, Alhaji Abdulkarim Tukur Gusau described the recent revalidation exercise as an attempt to demoralise the party in the state.

He called on party members in Gusau to always remain calm and law abiding citizens and avoid any acts that would bring breach peace and chaotic situation in the state and the country in general.
