Federal Government has charged indigenous business entrepreneurs to expedite action in modernizing their businesses geared towards enhancing trade and investment in the Country.
Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, Dr Sani Gwarzo stated this during a meeting with the leaders of Kano Chambers of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture held in Kano.
Dr Sani Gwarzo explained that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was committed in boosting trade and Investment aimed at enhancing the nation’s economy.
He said there was need for business entrepreneurs in the country to modernise their businesses by registering their ventures and paying the necessary taxes so that they will benefit from government interventions, policies and programmes .
Dr Sani Gwarzo urged the leaders of KACCIMA to redouble their efforts in sensitizing business communities in the state so they could key into modern business targeted at enhancing the economy.
In a remark, President of the Kano Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture Alhaji Dalhatu Abubakar said they would embark on sensitization of the business community with the aim of achieving the set objectives.
Alhaji Dalhatu Abubakar advised the business community in Kano to embrace modern techniques of entrepreneurship aimed at competing with other business communities across the globe.
