Emir of Ilorin Commends Government For Developmental Strides

The Emir of Ilorin in Kwara state Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has expressed satisfaction with the policies and programmes of the state government describing them as people oriented.

Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu – Gambari stated this while speaking during the traditional sallah homage (Bareke) to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at the Government House Ilorin.

He commended the people centred programme of the state government and its impact on the populace .

The Emir urged the state government to continue to ensure peaceful coexistence in the state.

He advise residents of the state to cultivate the habit of maintaining peace in their communities.

In his remark, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq said the annual Sallah homage underscores healthy and harmonious relationship between the traditional institutions and the government.
