The Emir of Hadejia Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje has called on muslim ummah to emulate the teaching and values of prophet Muhammad.
He made the remarks at his sallah message to the people of his emirate.
The Emir said muslims should unite themselves and love one another so as to have a good society.
He also called on herdsmen and farmers to live in peace with one another, adding that no development can be achieved without peace.
Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje reminded the state government of its plan to execute two roads projects in the area.
He charged parents to enroll their children in primary and Islamiyya schools.
Responding, the representative of the state Governor, and the speaker of the state House of assembly Alhaji Idris Garba commended traditional rulers for their role in ensuring peace and stability in the society.
He also said traditional rulers are partners in progress with government in ensuring peace.
