The Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has felicitated with Muslims in the state and the entire nation over the Edil Kabir Sallah festivities.
In a good will message signed by the Chief Press Secretary of the State House of Assembly, Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano, Alhaji Chidari described the festive period as a moment of reflection and total submission to Allah (SWT) as well as for prayers to seek divine intervention to end the problems bedeviling the nation.
The Speaker commended the foresight and leadership qualities of the Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in moving the state forward on all matters related to development.
He urged Nigerians to compliment governments efforts by abiding to the proactive measures of the state government in handling COVID-19 pandemic and making the state crime free .
“Health and security of the State remain top most priority of the State Governor as such we the people of the State own it a responsibility to support the Governor and make Kano State a role model in Socio-economic, security and development among it’s contemporaries”
He appealed to the five Emirate councils to continue mobilising their subjects on the important of observing COVID_19 protocols as mapped out by Nigeria Centre For Disease Control to curtail the spread of the disease.
