Eid el-Kabir: Kauru Emirate Emphasises Collective Effort In Tackling Insecurity

Kauru Emirate Council in Kaduna State has called for collective efforts towards tackling insecurity in the area and the state at large.

The Emir of Kauru Alhaji Zakari Ya’u Shehu Usman II made the call in a Sallah message to the people at his Palace in the kauru local government area.

Alhaji Zakari Ya’u who noted with concern the prevalence of insecurity confronting the nation, advised the youth to shun drug abuse and other social vices towards becoming productive members in the emirate.

According to him, residents should remain vigilant and be law-abiding as security agencies and other community vigilantes intensify anti banditry operations to secure people in the emirate.

The emir also suspended the durbar celebration while urging people to be low key during the festivities as directed by the Presidential Steering Committee to further curtail the spread of the infectious Delta variant of Covid 19.

When asked about the deplorable condition of the road leading to his domain, the emir said already consultations and arrangements were ripe to return reconstruction on the road while commending the resilience of the people in these hard time.
