FRSC deploys Over 1,000 Personnel For Salah Celebration

Federal Road Safety Corps-FRSC has assured it’s commitiments towards minimizing road traffic crashes before, during and after the Eid-el-Kabir.

The Zonal Commanding Officer in charged of RS1 Kaduna, Godwin Omiko gave the assurance while Flagging off a one-day workshop for rescue, zebra and emergency ambulance service officers.

Godwin Omiko said the essence of the workshop was to equip participants with knowledge that would assist to mitigate roads traffic crashes across the zone.

He therefore charged them to pay attention so as to learn new techniques of protecting lives and properties of Nigerians.

Speaking at the flagging off brief ceremony, the Kaduna State Commander of the Corp, Hafiz Muhammad Tarauni appealed to units commanders and other officers as well as special Marshalls to intensify efforts on First Information Reports-FIR for prompt actions.

Reacting to the corp plans to achieve accident free Celebration, Hafiz Muhammad Tarauni assured that all neccesary arrangements have been concluded to deploy eight hundred officers and two hundred and fifty special Marshalls to achieve the desired goals before during and after of the Sallah period.

The theme for the one-day capacity building workshop was effective crash management and casualty handling for fatality reduction.

It was attended by Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States sector commanders, units commanders, among others.
