Kwara State Police Command has deployed 2000 personnels to ensure a hitch free Sallah celebration across the length and breadth of State.
In a statement by the spokesman of the Command Okasanmi Ajayi said the command also deployed it’s special tactical units comprising , anti Kidnapping, anti cult, and Explosive Ordinance Department among others.
The statement urged Muslim faithful to enjoy the sallah celebration and holidays without any fear of attack or molestation.
It advised the residents of the state to remain vigilant and conscious of happenings around them .
The statement urged the residents to report strange faces and suspicious movements around them for police prompt action.
