Radio Nigeria Reporter Elected Correspondent’s Chapel Chairman

Correspondents in Zamfara will be engaged in capacity building activities for best journalism practice.

The newly elected Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel, Sani Haruna Dutsin-ma of Radio Nigeria who made the pledge in his acceptance speech said, his leadership will pay more emphasis on professionalism, welfare and promoting the cordial relationship between the chapel and government.

Dutsin-ma who is the Zamfara State Correspondent of Radio Nigeria Kaduna vowed to leverage on the experience acquired to uplift the standard of the Chapel and its members.

He therefore urged members and other stakeholders to accord him maximum support and cooperation with a view to justifying the trust reposed on him.

Sani Haruna who returned elected unopposed said he will carry everybody along for unity and progress, saying no stone will be left unturned in the process of overhauling the NUJ Zamfara Correspondents’ Chapel.

Those elected were ; Sani Haruna Dutsin-Ma of FRCN, Chairman; Ibrahim Ahmad Gada of NAN, Secretary; Shu’aibu Ibrahim of Albishir Newspaper, Vice Chairman; Sanusi Muhammad of Blueprint, Treasurer; Abdullahi Abdurrahman Chakwa of DITV, Auditor and Hussaini Yero of Leadership Ayau, as the Financial Secretary.
