President Muhammadu Buhari has Reaffirmed commitment in Reviving Nigerian Railway aimed at Reducing deficiency in the Transportation Sector.
He Stated this during the Ground Braking Ceremony of Kaduna – Kano Rail line ,held At Zawachiki, Dawakin Kudu local Government Area of Kano state.
He said his Administration had taken bold steps in the execution of Abuja kaduna, Lagos-ibadan rails line, saying now the revival of Kano-kaduna Rail line has come to reality.
President Muhammadu Buhari explained that the revival of the Country’s rail line would Enhance the economic development of the Nation and as well create more job opportunities.
He noted that his Administration was According priority in the rail sector geared towards improving the Economic well being of the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment is mapping out policies and programs aimed at uplifting the standard of living among Nigerians.
According to him, Kano state can compete with others globally due to the tireless efforts of his excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who has dedicated himself to completing projects left behind by the previous administrations.
He pointed out that apart from new projects the state government had also recorded tremendous achievements in various aspects.
President Muhammadu Buhari urged other state governors to imbibe the spirit of continuity to ensure the development of their states and the entire nation

Earlier in his remarks Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state said the dedication and commitment of the federal government in reviving the transport sector was a clear indication of how Nigeria’s economy would bounce back after the effects of covid 19 which had affected the entire world.
He maintained that the state government would to everything within it’s powers to provide adequate security of lives and properties,free and compulsory education, and quality healthcare delivery.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Appreciated federal government for Initiating laudable projects in Kano,among which were Modern Correctional Center ,Solar Power Station in Kumbotso, Reconstrucruin of Kano ,kaduna Abuja dul Carriage way among Others .

Also speaking the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero charged President Muhammadu Buhari to intensify more efforts towards insecurity and economy.
He described President Buhari as a remarkable leader who had visited Kano on several occasions.
