According to him, the institute is trying to create business opportunities for youths through export business of agricultural produce that people tend to overlook.

He said the essence of the training is to reduce poverty and generate new grade of employment through agricultural value chain .

In his remark , the trade promotion advisor, Kwara state office of the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Akinwunmi James, urged young Nigerians to go into export business.

He said with the drop in demand for oil in international business, there is the need to embrace non-oil export trade to earn foreign exchange, expand job opportunities and reduce poverty level in the country.
