Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State has expressed shock over the report of the sudden death of the member representing Shinkafi at the State Assembly, Honourable Muhammad G. Ahmad.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau, by the Director General Media, Public Enlightenment and Communications Government House, Malam Yusuf Idiris.
The Governor noted that Honourable Muhammad was with him throughout the preparations ahead of his exit from the PDP to the APC and making his own valuable contributions towards a successful event, not knowing he was carrying out his final assignments in this world.
In his condolence message to the deceased family, Matawalle said his death is a lost to him, his government and the entire State and prayed Almighty Allah to accept his Shahadat and give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, the Speaker Zamfara State Assembly Nasiru Ma’azu Magarya has led the state assembly members to condole the families of the deceased member Muhammad G Ahmad and pray Allah to grant him jannatul Firdausi.
In a related development, The Media Aid also denied some media reports that the son of the deceased and his driver were kidnapped adding that, the son is now at home receiving condolences from family members, friends and associates.
