Armed Forces Command Partner Senegalese Armed Forces

Inspector General of the Senegalese Armed Forces, Major General Elhadji Daouda Niang says collaboration in military training is critical in addressing security challenges.

In a release made available to newsmen in Kaduna by the acting Spokesperson of the Armed forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Major Mohammed Sani, the Inspector General stated this when he paid a courtesy call on the Commandant of the College in his office at Jaji.

Major General Niang explained that he was at the College to strengthen the cordial relationship between the Armed Forces of the two countries.

He noted that Nigeria and Senegal have common security challenges that require enhanced cooperation in training between the Armed Forces of both countries.

Responding, Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Air Vice Marshal Ebenezer Olayinka Alade commended the Inspector General for the visit, stressing that the visit would further strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the Armed Forces of Nigeria and that of Senegal.
