Nigeria Police Academy Commissions 418 ASPs

President Mohammad Buharis has reassured of his administration commitment in ensuring adequate security and welfare of Nigerians.

The President stated this during the passing out parade ceremony of the 3rd regular course of Nigeria Police Academy Wudil, Kano.

President Mohammad Buhari who was represented by the Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Mohammad Maigari Dingyadi said the newly Commissioned Assistant Supritendants were being absorbed into the Nigerian police at a time when the country was facing various security challenges.

He charged them to be committed and dedicated in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.

President Mohammad Buhari noted that since the inception of his administration, alot has been done to ensure profeciency and dedication of the Nigeria Police aimed at ensuring adequate security of lives and property.

” We have introduced laudable policies relating to policing and enhancing internal security,which includes accenting to Nigerian police trust fund, Providing needed Operational equipments,geared towards Achieving the set objectives”

He also charged the new officers to shun all act of corrupt practices and exhibit sense of decorum and patriotism in the discharge of their duties.

Earlier, Commandant of the Academy Commissioner of Police Lawal Tanko Jimeta said four hundred and eighteen Cadets graduated from the academy .

He said the newly commissioned officers were trained to meet the challenges of 21st century policing.

CP Lawal Tanko Jimeta maitained that the Academy have successfully injected into the society over one thousand well grounded middle level police officers since it’s inception.

” The diverse complex and global Security Challenges have Compelled the Nigerian police Academy to Reposition itself to Current policing reality According to international best Practices,which lead to inculcation of core Policing Courses among which include,Cyber Security, Forensics, Community Policing and other related Courses in the Cadet Curriculum”

A total of 418 Cadet Officer who graduated from the Nigera Police Academy Wudil were Commissioned into the Nigerian police as Assistant Supritendants of Police.
