Jigawa State Is Open for Development Partnership -Gov Badaru

Jigawa State government has expressed  readiness for institutional reforms to create atmosphere for partnership between the state and development partners for effective and efficient service delivery.

In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Badaru on Print Media,  Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro in Dutse, explains that Abubakar Badaru made the declaration during inauguration of the State Cares Steering Committee SCSC, saying his administration is open to ideas and opportunities that will enhance the development of jigawa.

It commended  members of the steering committee for working tirelessly during the peak of Covid -19 pandemic along specific indicators to access a two –year $20milllion , while urging them to double efforts towards implementation of the  project indices .

The statement says the Committee Chairman represented by the Permanent secretary, Budget and Planning, Alhassan Ibrahim Marke notes that the federal government team have visited the state and find it ready to kick start the project.

It adds that the operation manual will be unveiled soon after it domestication.

Radio Nigeria reports that the Steering Committee comprises commissioners of works, commerce, agriculture, Special adviser on empowerment, permanent secretaries of Health and budget and the Coordinator of the project would serve as the secretary of the committee.
