Kwara Gov’t Boosts Livestock Business

The Kwara State Government says it will support Animal Scientists to boost livestock business in the State.

The Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Hajia Maryam Mohammed stated this at the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected executive members of the State Chapter of Animal Science Association in Ilorin.

She urged all members to uphold professionalism in improving the sector through capacity building programmes to boost livestock production in the State.

Hajiya Mohammed enjoined them to create network of livestock ideas and realities across the continents through the sector to solve the problems of existing livestock farmers and intending ones.

In her address, the newly sworn-in Chairperson of Animal Scientists in the state, Dr. Eunice Shola -Ojo appreciated the State Government for providing enabling environment for the sector to flourish in the State.
