The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved the extension of the ongoing UTME registration for two weeks.

Registration is now to close May 29.

The decision follows a 2-day stakeholders meeting in Abuja, where the Registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede said the extension was necessitated by challenges experienced by candidates while registering for the UTME.

These include non-compliance to the registration process, wrong NIN and multiple phone numbers to generate a profile code, he said.
