Kano State Hisbah Board has sacked one of its top officials allegedly found with a married woman at a hotel room in Sabon Gari area of the state.
The Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Lawan Muhammad Fagge confirmed the sack of Sani Nasidi popularly known as Uba Rimo.
Reports indicate that, the decision followed the report of a committee set up by the Board to look into allegations that Rimo was found with a married woman at a hotel room.
Meanwhile, the Hisbah official had denied having an affair with the married woman, claiming that the lady was his niece whom was having issues with her husband and that he had taken her to the hotel pending the outcome of the mediation.
Radio Nigeria recalls that, Sani Nasidi was one of the top Hisbah officials who was at the forefront of arresting prostitutes and beggars.
