Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Partners FRCN On Social Vices Sensitisation

Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has reaffirmed commitment to partner Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna National Station to sensitise people on the danger of kidnapping, Banditry and other Social vices.

Managing Director of the Foundation, Alhaji Abubakar Gambo Umar stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the management of the corporation in Kaduna.

Alhaji Abubakar Umar said the foundation would contribute its quota towards reducing the menace of kidnapping, banditry and all issue related to insecurity in the north and the country as a whole.

According to him, the sensitisation would be carried out through jingles on the need for the bandits to embrace peace and avoid criminal activities for socio economic development.

Alhaji Umar pointed out that, the foundation was involved in various peace building and conflict resolutions for a long time, stressing that, partnership with FRCN would help to achieve the desired objectives.

The Managing Director, also described banditry as inhuman and anti any religion, and called on them to repent and embrace meaningful Life.

Alhaji Abubakar Umar commeded the efforts of federal Government and security agencies in curtailing all forms of criminality in the country

He also told management of the corporation that the foundation would hold annual lecture on leadership and good governance which would look at the issue of Covid-19 and it’s effect on Northern Nigeria Economy.

Responding, the Zonal Director, FRCN Kaduna, Malam Buhari Auwalu expressed commitment of the corporation towards supporting policies that would promote peace and development in the country.
