Parents of Abducted Kaduna Students Protest At National Assembly

Parents and guardians of the abducted students of the College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka in Kaduna State have gathered at the National Assembly complex, Abuja, to protest and to call on the authorities to ensure their children release from captivity.

They chanted different solidarity songs and displayed placards calling on the federal and state government to promptly rescue the students.

Representative of the Students Union Government (SUG) of the institution decried the negligence of the government in securing the release of the students.

Some the placard reads “Bring back our Student” “Education is our right! Safety is our right! Freedom is our right!

Kidnapped students of College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka in Kaduna State 

The security agents at the entrance of the National Assembly prevented the protesters from gaining entrance.

Gunmen had stormed the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State On 11th March, where 39 students were abducted from their hostels by bandits.

Ten of the students were released while 29 are still remaining in captivity.
