Insecurity: Kwara State Governor Calls For Citizen’s Support

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged Nigerians to rally behind the President and the security agencies in their efforts to surmount the insecurity challenges in the country.

AbdulRazaq made the call at the passing out ceremony of 1,056 newly recruited police special constabularies (community police) held in Ilorin.

The Governor urged Nigerians to continue to support the security agencies to enable them succeed.

He called on the citizens to be active informants to aid the activities of the police and other security agencies.

In his address, the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba advised the new constabulary policemen to remain disciplined, and obey lawful directives, as well as respect and protect human rights of all Nigerians.
