The apex sociocultural organization of Igbomina indigenes in Kwara state, Omo Ibile Igbomina has condemned the recent attack carried out on Share town in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.

National President of the body , Timothy Adebayo made the condemnation during a sympathy visit by national executive council of the group to the palace of Olupako of Share.

According to him the Igbominas will no longer condone any further disruption of peace, lives and property in the domain.

This followed the reported conflict in April in Share town during a communal clash between the Share people and their neighbours in Gange village.

Adebayo said that the major concern of the people is to ensure peace across the length and breadth of Igbomina land.

He noted that Share land occupies an important position as one of the ancient border towns in the Northern end of Yoruba land hence the need to sustain peace and security.
