I am not Intimidated By Other Aspirants – MB Mustapha

A political event held in Taraba state, North East, Nigeria, hosted by an APC Chieftain and aspirant for the party’s National Chairmanship in the fourth coming National Convention witnessed by prominent personalities from in and outside the zone in support of the aspirant.

Those in attendance comprise some lawmakers in the Taraba state House of Assembly, repsentative of Chief David Sabo Kente also a governotorial aspirant in the state during the last election, APC Chairman of Jalingo local government including a large number of women and youths among many other dignitaries.

This is no other person than a two terms Governotorial aspirant in the state under the platforms of ANPP as well as APC after the magger in 2015, Barr. Muhammed Bello (alias MB Mustapha).

There were entertainment shows by various Hausa musicians including some kennywood actors and actresses who entrained the gathering in promoting the aspiration of Barr. MB Mustapha to become the next APC National leader.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the declaration of his ambition to contest for position in Jalingo, the state capital, Barr. Muhammed Bello Mustapha said he is not intimidated by other aspirants who were big names in the party.

He said that he was contesting to win and to brought about the needed change both at party level and governance as a whole.

The National Chairmanship aspirant, urged the crop of old brigades in the party to give chance for the younger generation, advising them to be playing advisory role to the youth.

Barr. MB Mustapha, who is a lawyer by Profession, also appealed to the youths to support him to succeed, adding that it is the lime of the youths to take their destiny into their hands.

He promised to mend fences among the aggrieved party members and enthrone justice and equity in the party in particular and to the nation at large.

According to Mustapha, positive change cannot be effective through good governance but through party leadership.

” I am going to this contest to win because i have all it takes to lead the party. “I will not be intimidated by any so called big name within the party, because i have paid my dues.

“I am urging our older generation to give chance to the younger ones and assume the advisory position in which they can correct us where we are not right.

“We are not challenging them but it’s crucial for the youths that have fresh ideas to take up the mantle of leadership. I am calling on the youths to support my candidature with a promise that i will enthrone justice and equity in our great party in particular and the nation in general.

“I will equally enthrone internal democracy and party supremacy, also mending fences among agrieved members of our party, Mustapha said.

He however, commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s ed government for its efforts in tackling insecurity in the country.
