Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 97 new cases of Coronavirus with 5 deaths yesterday.
NCDC made this known through their official Twitter handle on Thursday night.
The breakdown of the cases include Lagos-50, Kaduna-12, FCT-10, Bayelsa-8, Imo-3, Kwara-3, Bauchi-2, Osun-2, Akwa Ibom-1, Edo-1, Kano-1, Ogun-1, Oyo-1, Plateau-1 and Zamfara-1.
With the latest figures, Nigeria now has 162, 275 confirmed cases, 149, 882 discharged and 2, 036 deaths.
The country has tested 1,727, 467 people since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was announced on February 27, 2020.
