Jigawa State Partners ITF To Promote Skills Acquisition And Commerce

Jigawa state government says it will strengthen its existing cordial working relationship with the Industrial Training Fund ITF. 

The State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila made this known when he received the management of the ITF, Kano Area office, led by the Area Manager Mallam Qasimu Abubakar.

Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila said Jigawa state government was aware of the full capacity of the Fund particularly to workers that have been trained  in terms of their skills.

He further explained that government had attached great importance to the training and retraining of its workforce, adding that it would not relent in its effort towards making civil servants more active through regular improvement of their capacity and productivity.

Earlier, the Kano area manager of the ITF, Kano Area office, Mallam Qasimu said the Fund was established to provide, promote and encourage the acquisition of skills in Industry and commerce with a view to generating a pool of indigenous trained manpower sufficient to meet the needs of the private and public sector of the economy.
