Speaker, House of Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, has urged journalist in the country to adhere more to the professionalism and be objective in their duty.
He made the remark while unveiling a maiden calendar of the House of Representatives Press Corp, in Abuja.
While commending the Press Corp for the initiative, Mr. Gbajabiamila pledged more support to the journalists covering the House to enable them perform effectively.
Earlier, the Chairperson of the Corp, Mrs Grace Ike, emphasized the need for more training and retraining of journalists covering the House for productivity.
Also speaking, the Chairman Committee on House Services, Mr. Wale Raji commended the cordial relationship existing between the legislature and journalist, in line with 9th House of Representative’s slogan of Nation; Building a joint task.
